
How it all began
Wedding Chat Marketing was founded by Henry Chen, a wedding photographer of more than 12 years based out of Southern California.
Having photographed more than 450 weddings (and being one of the highest and most rated wedding photographers on WeddingWire, Yelp and Google), he’s had the privilege of working with amazing couples and wedding professionals throughout his career.
In creating his own success as a wedding photographer, Henry has utilized various forms of marketing, from collecting reviews to SEO and social media, as well as advertising on wedding directory websites.
But like many wedding professionals out there, he was becoming frustrated with just how saturated these forms of marketing are.
Henry’s discovery of chat marketing was an instant game changer in his life and business, happening at a time when he was juggling multiple business ventures and in his first year as a new parent.
The desire to spend more time with family (and less time actively marketing his business) was the inspiration to learn more and implement a chatbot himself.
He quickly discovered that a chatbot was an effective way of marketing his business in a personal and sincere manner, without compromising the service he could provide to prospective couples.
He’d often heard couples mention that other wedding professionals hadn’t responded to them in a timely manner, and realized that having information at their fingertips could be equally beneficial for engaged couples.
Wedding Chat Marketing was born out of the idea that all wedding professionals are struggling to find enough time to market their business and that prospective couples appreciate a quick response to their questions and inquiries.
Having this information on autopilot caters to both parties, offering value to clients on platforms where they’re already engaging (Messenger, email, and SMS) and enabling wedding professionals the freedom to market around the clock while being as hands-off as they desire.
